Venomize Dr. Strange
DRAWINGS
One day while I was at work, I decided to sketch my favorite Marvel character venomized. This was back when "venomized" was everywhere. They ere coming out with Edge of Venomverse, Venomverse, Venomized, an they venomized every variant cover lol. I was inspired by Dr. Strange #18 venomized cover. I worked dynamic poses first but I ended up with a somewhat traditional pose for Dr. Strange. Next, I sketch out a face and settle for the sketch on the right. Long tongue, dramatic eyes, pointy ends, crazy hair.
I sketched out the pose, clothing, and face. Started to ink on lunchbreak. I didn't get into too much detail because this is only on a 4" x 6" paper. I do enjoy how it turned out with the eyes. It really goes well with the "venom" appearance. Now I need to figure out how to make it more menacing.
I'm going to do something with the sigils so it fits the whole venomized attitude. In, my opnion, pointy edges are the best way to pull this off.
I'm adding in the symbiote as I'm inking the sketch. Added the Eye of Agamotto. Adjusted the collar of the cloak.
Added more of the symbiote dripping off the arms and torso. Ink the hands, cloak, belt, dagger, and blouse.
Here is my attempt at coloring with very limited colors lol. I think it turned out well. Added highlight on the symbiote. Created a sigil with points and circles. Left handed looks fantastic, right handed...not so much lol. I wasn't sure ho to do the perspective change on a hologram. I enjoy this challenge. Recently, I have see other artist's rendition of this design and I love all of them. It shows ho creative people can be.

Thank you for reading this.
I hope it wasn't too long yet enjoyable.
